This is a painting I did a few weeks ago just in time for Valentine's Day. ^_^ Knowing that this was for an art gallery that was just a few days from the day I started doing it, I decided to use acrylic paint because it dries fast. Using oil paint will take a week to dry. I did this for about 3 hrs from start to finish in one sitting.

For this artwork, I painted directly on canvas with no reference but an idea already in my head. No pencil guides.

wow... you must have been on fire. i mean, im told all the time that i draw quite fast (thats what you get from drawing during classes - be quick or be caught), but 3 hours in traditional paint for a not so tiny canvas... wow.

and the picture rocks, too, of course. :D i like the concept.
