Chibi Cosplayer Feature, Xander Angeles' Exhibit

A few guys I'd like to thank! :heart:

:bulletred: Thank you so much to the Faller Family for the wonderful presents!


It was surprising to see such a colorful bunch. What's more amazing is when
I opened the pink notebook!! It was something I never expected!!


A personalized scrapbook! Very sweet of them to make this. *tears*






It was really cool how much time and effort was poured into piecing this together.
I love it! It makes me want to print and compile my past photos~
...just in case my CDs get crushed by ~orangeish (lol)... at least I have
hard copies, right?



Lovely Louella Faller! This 4 year old girl has done a lot of cosplays already!
This is also the same little girl who wanted to take me home. Hahaha!

Xander Angeles' Exhibit

Accidentally, dropped by Xander Angeles' exhibit last night at Green Belt 5. He's a great photographer and it was really cool to meet him in person! A good friend of ours, Lino, knows him really well. Hope to maybe work with him some day! *dreams*

I think, you needed to be on the guest list to get in. But thank you to Tita Ginggay Joven-dela Merced for helping us get in! We were so unprepared for this event because we didn't know that it was gonna happen last night. So I am terribly sorry I wasn't able to bring a camera to take decent photos. We had to make the most out of our camera phones.

Hello there Mr. Photographer!




The area! Most of the people were dressed to impress!

We left the event for a bit just to grab dinner. On the way out..


It was flattering that people still know my works even if I lacked the bright wigs and colorful get-up. *.*




Some brought copies of the FHM magazine I was featured in - June 2009 issue. I think this is because Xander was a really well-known photographer of that mag.









Had dinner at John and Yoko, one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. I never get tired of their Dynamite Roll. Yumm yumm! After dinner, we went back because Jen texted us that she was there~


Jenny Rockett and me. Jen is a very sweet girl! She modeled for Xander in his latest calendar.

But this is one of her past features...

*loves stalking pretty girls*


Tim Yap hosted the event. This is the first time I've seen him in person.

We left after the video presentations because it was getting late and my house was an hour and a half drive from the place. Passed by an ice cream shop and accompanied Jen to get to her sister at a restaurant.

All in all, it was great to have dropped by the event even if it was only just by chance!








Maxicollector Website

Promo still on-going!

Finally, the new Maxicollector website has been launched. I helped with the layout. Some of the product/figure photos were also taken by me. You guys might want to check it out because there is a special sale only upto January 25, 2010! Most of the figures I have were acquired from their shop. Check out their catalog here!






OTACOOL 2 (cosplay book)


Finally, I also got to submit my entry for the OTACOOL2 Cosplay Book! Submissions are still open. They'll be accepting entries until mid February. But if they get lots of entries, they might close submissiona earlier. *.*

Thank you to the Nihonggo Dantai group of Ateneo High School for inviting me to be one of the judges for their very first cosplay event. This will be part of their high school fair's program. :)

COSPLAY RULES:</u>
Date: January 30, 2010 (Saturday)
Time: 4pm to 6 or 7 or 8pm
*Schedule may change without prior notice.

1. Cosplay Competition is open to all Anime, Manga, Gaming, Comics, Online Games, J-Pop, J-Rock, Cartoons, etc.

2. All Cosplayers must first register online for a screening process.

3. Men will not be allowed to be topless or have too much skin exposure. Women are not allowed to have visible cleavage or too much skin exposure and skirts, at the most must only be two inches above knee level. Any skin exposure that is part of the costume will only be accepted if covered by flesh-like garments. The Ateneo Fair Committee has the right to reject any Cosplayer if they find the person or his/her costume inappropriate.

4. Cosplayer/s are required to sign up on the day itself before 3pm. (This will be separate from the online registration as the sign up is to secure your presence during the competition). During sign up, Cosplayer may be in costume (?).

5. Cosplayer/s have the option to provide an image of what he/she is Cosplaying for the judge’s reference. This should be included with the online application and should be in .JPG or .JPEG format.

6. BGM (Background Music) may also be submitted with the online application. This may either be submitted with the online application or the name may be mentioned in the application and Cosplayer must be the file on the day itself for screening. File must be in .MP3 format.

7. Upon sign up, Cosplayer must present their Ateneo Fair entrance ticket. A no ticket, no contest rule will be implied.

8. Bringing of deadly weapons or any materials that the Organizers, Security, or Logistics team think that are dangerous will not be allowed. They will be confiscated and will be returned after the event. Fair security will be implementing strict entrance rules.

9. Individual Cosplayer/s may also join the Group Cosplay that will take place on the same day.

10. Refreshments will be served for all Cosplayers.

11. IDs must be worn at all times once the Cosplayer has signed up for the event on the day itself.



GROUP COSPLAY ADDITIONAL RULES:</u>

1. There should be 5-10 members per Cosplay group.

2. Group skit must be at least 2 minutes and 5 minutes at the maximum.

3. Only a certain amount of Cosplay groups will be accepted and will be on a first come, first serve basis.

a silver metal chain and charm holder. It is not breakable!

The mini cameras are made out of black resin (not polymer clay/sculpey)
which makes it more durable. The lens and LCD areas have been
glossed to make those certain parts shine.
